In anticipation for Carnival Cruise Line’s largest ship to date, Carnival tasked us with creating a one-of-a-kind behind the scenes series exploring all there is to know about this ship. We took audiences on a globetrotting journey to meet the people behind this incredible feat and give viewers a taste of what’s coming to Mardi Gras. From a roller coaster testing facility in Germany to the shipyard in Finland and Emeril Lagasse’s restaurant in New Orleans, we went the distance to go behind the fun. BEHIND THE FUN: MARDI GRAS

When it came time to promote the arrival of Carnival’s second Vista-class ship, the Carnival Horizon, the cruise line wanted to show off its amenities and offerings in a brand new style. To that end, we presented them with the idea of making a musical number set aboard the new ship. With the ship’s deadhead sailing soon approaching, our team worked to script, storyboard, and begin pre-production on this video in record time. The end result? Our team pitched the creation of a pair of videos for Zoo Miami’s social channels with two vastly different approaches. One video would serve as an exciting and unrivaled tour through nature, while the other took a trip to the zoo from a child’s perspective. As Carnival Panorama was preparing to set sail in Long Beach, Carnival wanted to leverage the ship’s coin ceremony to hammer home the connection between the ship and its new home. We chose to take the star of the ceremony, the Panorama ceremony coin, on its own personal journey through California. Through the lens of a nostalgic red Viewmaster with the ceremony coin tucked inside it, we went across all of California with the flip of a switch. As Wynwood Brewing Company’s staple beer, La Rubia, began gaining huge momentum in bars across the country and made waves on store shelves everywhere, the company wanted to capitalize on this rush with a hype piece that tied the beer with the culture and people of the city that inspired it. Combining sweeping aerials, drive-thru POV, and close-up texture shots of new features like mobile charging ports and a flame grill window display, our flythrough of the new Burger King showed that there was no better time to have it your way. To promote their location in Los Cabos and get audiences in the vacation spirit, Hard Rock Hotel tasked us with making a variety of video content for their brand. For one of the pieces, we decided to step out of the box and into the studio to achieve a stop-motion animated video on the packing process.
